This remote position (based on the West Coast) blends technical expertise with strategic sales acumen. As a trusted advisor, the Senior Sales Engineer will showcase Thales’ cybersecurity solutions, emphasizing database security, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and API/web application protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Technical Demos: Deliver tailored presentations and proofs of value (PoVs) to prospects, highlighting solutions for data governance, compliance (PCI, HIPAA), and threat mitigation.
- Collaborate with Sales Teams: Partner to design customer-centric strategies, translating technical features into business outcomes.
- Solve Complex Challenges: Address client pain points in DevOps environments, hybrid cloud setups, and legacy system integrations.
- Industry Advocacy: Represent Thales at events, sharing insights on cybersecurity trends like Zero Trust and encryption.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Technical Expertise
- 7+ Years in Cybersecurity or Data Architecture:
- Proficiency in database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and Linux administration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API security tools.
- Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, proxies, firewalls) and compliance frameworks.
- DevOps & Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, IaC (Terraform), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
